The company was promoted by a team of experts led by Mr. Ramesh C Arora who is one of the luminaries of the stock broking field in the country. KSBL started its operation in 1996 by taking membership in NSE. The company is looking for new ventures in the field of new modern technologies, trading methods and products.
A Pioneer in the Indian capital markets, Kumar Share Broker Ltd (KSBL) launched its stock broking operations as a member of NSE India in 1996, promoted by a group of professional and experienced stockbrokers led by Mr. Ramesh Chand Arora Ex professionals of Banking Sectors. KSBL has made tremendous strides, making it one of the top trading and clearing members in NSE (both cash & derivatives).
KSBL played a path-breaking role in the implementation and popularization of CTCL (computer to computer Link) trading technology. The facility currently on offer from KSBL offers the end user, the privilege of trading across 5 different markets (NSE-Equity, NSE-Derivatives, BSE-Equity, and MCX & NCDEX) on a single screen.

The Organisation
The National Stock Exchange of India Limited has genesis in the report of the High Powered Study Group on Establishment of New Stock Exchanges, which recommended promotion of a National Stock Exchange by financial institutions (FIs) to provide access to investors from all across the country on an equal footing. Based on the recommendations, NSE was promoted by leading Financial Institutions at the behest of the Government of India and was incorporated in November 1992 as a tax-paying company unlike other stock exchanges in the country.
On its recognition as a stock exchange under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 in April 1993, NSE commenced operations in the Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment in June 1994. The Capital Market (Equities) segment commenced operations in November 1994 and operations in Derivatives segment commenced in June 2000.
